Congratulations to Lillie Keenan (14 yrs. old!) winner of the 2011 $100,000 USHJA International Hunter Derby Finals
The judges included Scott Hofstetter (FL), Otis Brown (KY), Russell Frey (MD), Julie Winkel (NV), Carleton Brooks (CA), Jimmy Torano (FL), Jim Clapperton (MI) and Mike Rosser (NC) who were split into panels of two and placed in strategic positions around the arena.
Keenan, New York, NY, one of the youngest competitors at age 14, led the pack aboard the brilliant 9-year-old warmblood mare Madison, owned by Chansonette Farm, LLC. "I loved the course; it was a true hunter course. It reminded me of the pictures of my mom when she was a kid riding an outside course," said Keenan.

Wow, one year later and our blog is top on google search with over 7,000 hits.
Thanks to everyone at the barn for providing the great experiences and allowing us to write about them.

Let's support our affiliates and help protect their work. Here is a quote from Maxine Evans Photography. Our show photographer.

Dear Friends, Please help me stop the shoplifting... it breaks my heart when I go onto FB in the morning and I see images from my website with our watermark plastered across them. Especially, since I probably worked a 18 hour day and drove 10 hours to take that persons picture at a show.
